NutriFriend 1100 is a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition particularly due to chronic inflammatory diseases or immune disorders. Nutrifriend 1100 is a special formulated medical nutrition that aims to increase the intake of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D3 combined with energy and protein to meet nutritional needs of patients with inadequate intakes of these nutrients. Nutrifriend 1100 is an Oral Nutrition Supplement (ONS), recommended to be used in addition to normal food or in combination with complete ONS. Nutrifriend 1100 has a smoothie-like texture, is ready to drink, and is available in two flavors: peach and tropical.
